Continuing the inFAMOUS Legacy

inFAMOUS 2 hit store shelves June 7th, and the reviews were stellar.  Thus far, fans think that the game was well worth the wait, with GameSpy stating “The first title established him and set our expectations for Sucker Punch’s universe, but the sequel expands it into a highly entertaining, thrilling, and responsive action game bursting with stout combat.”

Accompanying the launch of the game was the launch of the marketing website, highlighting the awe inspiring characters, scenes and excitement that only inFAMOUS 2 can bring.

Sony wanted to broaden the international appeal for inFAMOUS 2, the sequel to the blockbuster title inFAMOUS. Building on the success of the first game, Sony wanted to continue building its global fan base and community of gamers, leveraging social media and game to web integration.


Xi designed and developed a digital user experience for fans in 12 different languages across desktop, mobile and tablet devices. An easy to use CMS powered by Drupal enabled Sony to update content across all languages. The site features one of the most robust communities available for video gamers, including ability for fans to create and share game missions (UGC), comment/rate all content and play community UGC missions.


The inFAMOUS 2 site drew millions of visitors upon launch, a large percentage of whom registered for the online community and created a significant amount of user-generated content.
